Not-So-Nice Cream

Laundry unfolded, dishes unwashed and here I am posting my third post of the day. I couldn't help myself. Experimenting with those little dots you see from time to time. Threw some squares in the mix... and a tongue. I think the droplets could use a thicker stroke (the line around a shape). Not changing it now.

I present to you Not-So-Nice Cream. Enjoy.

  1. The water droplets from the tongue...nice comic touch. How about motion lines? Back to the dots. Remember how I put a couple dots on a (male) face from time to time, and it makes a character look either zitty or unshaven? Just a couple dots here and there makes a lot of difference.

  2. I love it! Its very fun, perhaps not well behaved, but fun! lol Those ol' dots are called a half-tone pattern. They were used in early comics printing to visualy mix to create colors that printing wasn't capable of making at the time. I love your use of them here. Yay Allie!
